Big Brother: Love And Hate In The House Commentary by Cari C. July 19, 2007
Since I do the scoreboard for Big Brother 8, I thought it might be a good idea to write a piece about my take on each of the houseguests before the next elimination. I think it might give you some insight into why I rank the houseguests where I do. Being human, there are some houseguests I really enjoy while there are others that I can't stand. Here is an insight into my favorites and my not so favorites. I have ranked the guests in the order of how much I like them.
Dustin: I love Dustin. He cracks me up and I think Joe is crazy for being so mean to him. Dustin reminds me of a really good friend I had in college. He is always so happy and he is not bowing down to the pressure Joe is putting on him to vote to keep him in. I would love to see Dustin win the whole thing.
Dick: I love Dick. I love that he is not afraid to say what is on his mind. He knew Jen was going to put him up but instead of bowing down to her like some of the others, he told her what he thought. In the beginning I didn't think I was going to like Dick but after watching him, he is really growing on me. He reminds me of Tommy Lee for some reason and I like that he is trying to mend his relationship with Danielle.
Jameka: I like that Jameka is flying under the radar. It works for her. She hangs out and seems to be really supportive of the other people in the house. I love how she stood up for Amber against Zach and how she always seems to be there when someone needs a hug or a shoulder to cry on.
Amber: Amber would have been higher if she would just stop crying. I really like Amber but the girl needs to get her emotions in check. She cries at the drop of the hat. She is never going to win if she keeps getting so emotional every time something happens in the house. I love that she has a bond with Dick and Dustin. It could help keep her in the house a bit longer.
Nick: When I first saw Nick I wasn't so sure about him. As the game goes on though, I really enjoy watching how he plays the game. I still have my doubts about his feelings for Danielle. He could be using her or they could be using each other. Either way, right now it's working. I think as long as Jen goes soon, Nick could be safe for awhile.
Danielle: I am not sure about Danielle right now. I don't trust her one hundred percent but she is much better than a lot of people in the house. I am trying to figure out what her feelings towards her dad and Nick are right now. She could be using them both to get further in the game and if so that is just sad because both guys seem to really care about her.
Eric: Some days I like Eric and other days I don't. I think he could be a bit much to take day after day. I don't know if he was the best choice for America's player but I could be wrong. He doesn't seem to have much influence in the house and I don't think he has a real alliance. In Big Brother world, not having a solid alliance is not good.
Mike: I don't like that Mike is buddy buddy with Jen. She makes me nauseous and I hate that he even gives her the time of day. I think Mike could be a good player but he might have got in a bad alliance. I am just not sure that the Mrs. Robinson alliance can win this whole thing. I could be wrong but I just don't see Mike lasting to the end. I see him as a middle of game player. Hopefully if Jen gets the boot next week, he will wake up and go to the better side.
