Big Brother: ED & Daniele Use Race Baiting for PoV Commentary by Cindy Rutolo Dietrich September 9, 2007
That all happened before the PoV.
Until now, this has been a long, boring, but interesting week. Poor
Jessica was evicted. I was sad to see her go. I can't say the same about
Eric though I felt his eviction was an example of instant karma. I was
moved however, by his tears for Jessica. But only because I was happy to
see any kind of genuine emotion. It's become a rare commodity on this
show. Of course he also didn't exactly leave empty handed. He was
evicted $40,000.00 richer. Plus, he appears to be in love.
Pity about that, for Jess that is. Alone in the jury house, she might
have had time to reflect. Time to realize the profound way Eric's
manipulations affected her game. Without Eric's constant influence I
believe she would have started to see the truth. Maybe started to think
for, and trust herself again.
Instead, Eric's eviction put them right back together again. He'll now
have days and days to keep that connection. He'll be able to massage
Jessica's opinion of him, and his moves in the house.
Jameka had an unbelievably stressful week. It's only getting worse as
time goes on. She was nominated twice. Spared. Spun. Left alone,
friendless in the house. Then, Zach came into his own. Decided to
reclaim his thrown. Together they planned a last minute coup d'etat.
Unfortunately they've failed.
Zach and Jameka spent most of Saturday prepping and praying. All of them
were prepping. and fretting and endlessly waiting for this crucial PoV
contest to commence. They were wound up tighter than a corkscrew.
Everyone was on edge.
Meanwhile, the Donato's continue to duck, stab and attack anyone in their
way, especially the weak. They continue to bob and weave a web of lies
and deceit. So this week was no surprise. It was filled with more
vicious, backstabbing, slanderous, scandalous, allegations and lies. The
garbage that flies out of the mouths of these too, are enough to make a
saint blind.
Their latest plan, race baiting Jameka, and the pervert, panty munching
barbs for Zach make me wonder; is there no place too low for the deadly
double DD's to go? I seriously have my doubts. But more so, before the
PoV, about Daniele than her dad. Daniele said herself that she thinks
she's getting meaner every day that she stays in that house.
I really couldn't agree with her more.
She was so much prettier when she didn't talk. She's a textbook example
of don't judge a book by it's cover. God, I wish she'd stop the hate
talk. Her tongue's so vicious. It's so sharp. It constantly bites. She's
so young. But she's also so bitter she sometimes sounds very old.
Daniele's become the queen of mean in the Big Brother house.
ED is what he is. He can be coarse, crude, cruel, and rude. But he's
shown us his soft underbelly too. I really do like ED when ED is kind.
Unfortunately he's usually too busy screwing with his opponents' minds.
Right now he's messing with mine.
But every once in a while ED let us see, his heart. I just wish that he
hadn't done the same thing so often with his cruelty.
So, while Daniele seemed to get meaner, Zach suddenly grew strong. It
was like he finally found the strength to go on.
"I'll do you proud." Zach said aloud. He seemed visibly moved and
rejuvenated by his HoH letter from home. He found out he has
supporters and his spirits were buoyed. Perhaps that's why he suddenly
seemed to have found his place in the house and the game at this late
hour.
