Instead, Dick is trying to insure his removal from the house in an effort to make sure his daughter stays. If this were a movie about empirical Japan, Dick would be heaving himself onto the business end of the sword right now, and then the girl he did it for would just open up the fridge and pull out some sort of rice-flavored slop. Daniele doesn't care, and the only reason she is making her dad do all of these shenanigans is to make them hate him more and keep her in the house. I would bet my next month's paycheck that if and when Dick walks out of the house Thursday Daniele will start to play the it hasn't been me or my game this whole time because I wanted to play and everyone else here forced me to do things based on what they thought my dad was like. Clearly, I was part of the LNC the whole time because I voted out Nick when he was my "best friend" (read cuddle-bunny) in the House. Sad but true.
I think with Eric's having to do America's bidding, though, it could have opened up a chance for getting Eric or Dustin up on the block, following the POV, but once the POV ceremony is over, so is that opportunity once the nominations are locked. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
I do think the show will lose some of the entertainment value as far as the "What will that guy say next?" appeal if Dick walks out of the House. I don't think I will miss it. I like the strategy of this game, not the sensationalistic crap that Dick has devolved into over the last few weeks.
Of course, at this point, the houseguests think evicting Daniele would be the better move, from a strategic standpoint. Daniele has the only chance between the two of them to turn around the house's sentiments. Dick has played all of his cards and continues to play them by waking up the other players, acting like an asshole, and coming up with various ways to make them all eat slop and give up their potential prize money. CBS Producers must be peeing on themselves with glee.
I will see y'all again after the next episode.
