Big Brother: Mrs. Robinson Controls The Game

That night, Dustin and Joe sit down to have a conversation. Joe says that he doesn't want Dustin there because he wants it to be "his time." Dustin says that he didn't cheat and give him gonorrhea. Joe tells him that he lies and doesn't open up, and is a bad person. He says that other than making him "feel pretty," Dustin never did anything good for him. Joe tells Dustin that he raised him, "spoon-fed" him, and was the parent he never had.
The next morning, Dick finds Daniele in the bathroom and asks her if she's ok. She ignores him, he keeps talking, and she keeps ignoring him. Finally she tells him that he's coming on too strong with people, and they're a "relaxed group of people." They start whispering about alliances and working together, which makes me think that they're not as estranged as I thought. Daniele tells us that it's not that their relationship is ok, but for the game, they're going to have each others' backs.
Eric tells us that he's using his sense of humor as a strategy, which seems to be working for now. It's time for us to "tell him what to do." This week, Eric has to make up a traumatic story about his past, and America has to vote to decide who he has to tell the story to.
It's nomination day, and Kail has just said that she's going to "do what is fair." She gets the key box ready, and says that it's difficult because she's going to be the one who "crushes their dreams." Everyone gathers around the dining room table and Kail brings in the key box. First, she gives Dustin, Dick and Jess their keys since they can't be evicted. Then Kail says "in the spirit of fairness, let this nomination begin."
The first key pulled is Eric's. He pulls Joe's key, who looks a little surprised. Joe pulls Zach's key, Zach pulls Daniele's key, and Daniele pulls Jen's key. Jen pulls Mike's key, Mike pulls Jamika's key, and there is only one key left. Jameka pulls out the last key, and it goes to Nick. That means that Amber and Carol are nominated for eviction.
Kail says "I nominated Amber and Carol for eviction. I based my eviction nominees on their work performance (for some reason Dick is holding back tears) and it's the luck of the draw that you two were the first out of the HOH competition, so that's what I based this on." Carol says she's going to fight to stay, and Jess says that she's happy that Carol was nominated. Amber says that Kail shouldn't have put her up, because "they're both mothers, and it's a respect thing."
Next time on Big Brother 8, we'll see who wins the Power of Veto, and we'll also find out if Eric completes his first task as America's Player!
