Big Brother: Jen-Vicious Makes No Friends

The next round is Amber and Dustin. Dustin says he can name that pie in five bites, Amber says four bites, and Dustin tells her to "Name that Pie!" Amber munches on her potato and pineapple pie, and my husband has decided that Big Brother choosing pies with ingredients that are alliterations is "curious." Amber isn't enjoying her pie, and guesses lemon and sweet potato. She's wrong, so the guys get the point and tie the game.
Kail and Eric are next. Kail says five bites, Eric says four, and Kail tells Eric to name it. Eric's sausage and apple pie disproves my husband's alliteration theory, and to me is the most appetizing combination so far. Eric guesses spam and fig, which is so far from correct that I think they should subtract a point! The girls' team now leads two to one, and I've decided that it's going to take until tomorrow to get to seven points.
Nick and Jessica are next, and the bidding goes just as the last few rounds have gone. Nick says five, Jessica says four, and Nick tells Jessica to go. Her pie is hot dog and strawberry, but she guesses spam and pomegranate, so the game is tied again.
Next up are Zach and Joe, and we don't see how the bidding went, but Zach is the one eating the pepperoni and mint pie. He guesses venison and mint which is close, but not close enough. The point goes to the girls (and Joe). Then we have Daniele and Mike. Mike has Daniele eat the pie, maybe just to try to get some calories into her. She guesses carrot and cheese which is correct, and the girls are up four to two.
Jameka and Dick are next, Dick eats the pie, and guesses sweet potato and licorice correctly, so now it's four to three. Then come Amber and Dustin, and Amber eats the salmon and blueberry pie. She guesses it right, so it's five to three and the red team is two points away from a win.
Kail and Eric are up, and Kail eats the hamburger and peach pie. She guesses black beans and peach, which brings the score to five to four. Nick and Jessica's pie goes to Nick, and he has the treat of eating a tuna and jellybean pie. Nick takes huge bites which might help his guessing, and he also has what I think is an easy combination to identify. He guesses it correctly, so it's now tied at five points each.
Zach and Joe are up again, and Joe eats the anchovy and cabbage (ewww) pie, but guesses clams and zucchini. The blue team is finally in the lead with six to five, and they're now one point away from the win. I cross my finger that they'll put me out of my misery.
Daniele and Mike are next, and Mike tells Daniele to eat the pie. He maybe shouldn't have, because she guessed correctly last time. This time she gets pickle and clam, which is probably much harder than the carrot and cheese pie she got last time. She picks around and stirs up the pie and finds a big piece of a pickle, which of course helps. Daniele guesses pickle and tofu, so the guys win and the girls (and Joe) are on slop! The producers are seriously going to have to slip Daniele a candy bar in the diary room, or she'll waste away to nothing if she's on slop again.
Eric is in the diary room and gets his assignment for the week. "Who should Eric try to get nominated for eviction?" America has voted for Jessica, and Eric says that he never even thought of her, so it's going to make his game interesting. He talks to Jen in the HoH room and says he's gotten a "weird vibe" from Jessica. He says that he thinks that Jessica hated Carol, but played it off like she didn't. Jen of course brings the conversation around to herself, and says that Carol told her "Jessica's going to have it out for you, because she wants to be the hot chick." Jen tells us that she was surprised to hear what Eric had to say, and is going to think about it.
Next to talk to Jen (wearing her "Jensa member" shirt) in the HoH room is Nick. She asks his opinion, and he tells her to do whatever she wants. She says that she thought in the beginning that she was going to be close to him, and now she's annoyed since she's not. Nick smiles as Jen says "I don't care what anyone thinks, it's not like I'm stupid." She goes on and on about how she's upset and uncomfortable that she's hanging out with Daniele now and not her. Nick plays it down and reminds Jen that Daniele has a boyfriend, and asks why it bothers her so much. She doesn't really have an answer for him, and says that she's thinking of putting up the most negative people in the house, and "you're pretty negative." He tells her again to do whatever she wants, and if she wants to put him up it's fine. Clearly, she wanted him to kiss her ass and stop hanging out with Daniele, and I'm again catapulted back into junior high.
Dick and Zach are in the bedroom.....
