Big Brother: "It's Nothing Personal" Yeah Right!
Episode 21 Recap by Jenny Lane
August 22, 2007
Previously on Big Brother 8, Dustin was evicted from the house, and Dick proved that he's got nine lives. Dustin's eviction stunned Amber, Jameka and most of all, Dustin. Daniele became the next HoH, so Dick and Daniele's luck continues for another week! After Dustin's eviction, Eric did some fast talking to try to justify his vote. Amber sobbed, of course. Daniele got a sappy (and feminine) letter from Nick in her basket of HoH goodies, but nothing from her 'boyfriend.'

The 'beer pong' food competition put Jameka, Amber, Jen and Daniele on slop for the week, and gave the entire house a feast one night. Eric's assignment was to get Amber nominated for eviction, which he was happy with. He got his wish, and Daniele nominated Jameka and Amber for eviction. Neither of them is Daniele's target, as she's hoping to have the opportunity to backdoor Jen after the PoV competition.

Tonight we begin after Amber and Jameka's nominations. Jameka says that she doesn't believe Daniele's excuse for nominating them, which was that she couldn't win against them at the end. Amber says she's going to win, because she wants to prove that "good people can win this."

Jen is talking to Jessica, and says that maybe it was a mistake to evict Dustin instead of Dick. Jessica doesn't tell Jen about her new alliance with Dick and Daniele, and just says "their time will come." Jen wonders if Daniele is planning to put up a replacement after the PoV, and says "I don't know who she'd put up though!"

Inside, Jessica and Eric snuggle in bed, and Eric offers to show her some "Ultimate Fighting Moves." Eric grabs Jessica around the neck, and the background music switches from fighting music to kissing music. High schoolers all over are going to be using that move! Zach walks in the room and says that the room is too hot, turns up the air conditioning, and then joins them in bed. Then Jessica demonstrates her new move, "The Clench" on Zach, which I'm pretty sure was not in Eric's plan!

Amber and Jameka talk in the backyard. Amber says that she's had it with Jessica, because she's a "sneaky, selfish 21 year old bitch, and they're playing us." Amber thinks that Jameka is a pawn to get Amber sent home. She doesn't think that they care if Jameka is around for now, since she still can't compete for HoH. Amber says "I'm a big threat because I do get along with everyone, it's a really good excuse for her to put me up, this week is to get me out of here." Then Amber says that she thinks that they'll both still be here next week, because she "had a vision, and God did this for a reason, to make us stronger." Jameka says that she's going to fight for this until the end. Amber decides to mix some tough talk with her bad grammar and says "I'm done crying, I ain't crying no more, I ain't, I'm done hurtin, it's my time and my will to win."

In the diary room, Amber explains her vision. She says that last week she had a vision that she won the PoV, and "that was God's way (as she starts to cry) of prepping me for this week, in a couple days we'll know if my vision is right, if everything pans out like my vision, I'm going to win the PoV and Jameka and me are going to be in the final two." She says she's done crying and is done being upset, and is going to pull through for her family.

Eric gets his next assignment from America. There is a brown box in the diary room labeled "Woobie." Inside the box is a stuffed dog that looks old and worn, and is actually missing an arm. The card reads "in order to accomplish this task, you must share a special moment and give your childhood Woobie to the person America has chosen for you." America chose Jessica, which is really lucky for Eric. I wish America would have chosen Dick!

I personally didn't find Eric's next move noteworthy, but it sent my husband into hysterics, so I'll mention it. Still in the diary room, Eric stands up, and needing to hide the Woobie from the houseguests, he shoves it down the back of his pants (or as my husband said, "he put that down his butt!"). My husband says that when Jessica sees that, she won't be happy with Eric! Actually, I think Jessica will have more important things to be mad at Eric about than Woobie down his pants!

That night, Eric grabs Woobie.....
