Big Brother: The Liar Is Lied To - Vindication For Dick
Episode 7 Recap by Logan Huffman
July 20, 2007

Downstairs, Kail sits down on the couch to talk with Daniele. Jameka is also sitting on the couch silently. Kail tells Daniele that she is proud of her, winning two Power of Veto competitions, and being on slop for two weeks. She tells her that she looks at her, and then looks at her dad, and she realizes how much Daniele has overcome. She tells Daniele about Dick asking her if she thinks he is a good dad, and she says that she thinks to herself that Dick did something right, by leaving Daniele with his parents. Damn, that's cold. Daniele isn't playing Kail's stupid game, as she tells us that Kail is one on the most paranoid people in the house, and she knows she is trying to hit her emotional side, but she knows that she is campaigning against her dad.
Later, Daniele goes outside and pulls her dad aside. Daniele tells him to please not say anything, and to focus on the issue tomorrow, and then tells him that Kail is trying to turn the entire house against him. Dick says that he is going to call her out, and Daniele begs him not to do anything right now, or they will know she said something. Daniele quickly walks away before she is seen talking to her dad, as we see Kail with a look of paranoia on her face.
The next morning, Kail is in the kitchen, telling Nick and Mike that Daniele is with Dick 100%, and that they are doing everything they can right now to save Dick. She tells Nick that he has to vote out Dick. Nick tells us that the fact that Dick may stick around worries Kail, and as far as things go, Nick likes both of the nominees, and it is inevitable that he is going to make someone unhappy.
Later, with most of the houseguests in the kitchen, Dick approaches Kail, asking her if anyone found it odd that she was campaigning to get rid of him. Dick adds that he heard that it wasn't very well received. Kail says that apparently, it didn't matter what she thought anyway, at least, that's what he told her. Dick says that they had an agreement, and she said that she was voting to keep him. Kail argues that she said she would tell him if she changed her mind, and it isn't Thursday yet. Dick asks her while she lies, taking pieces of the conversation and spreading them around the house, but not telling everyone the whole thing. He also asks her how she can outright lie like that and be OK with it. The other houseguests look uncomfortable as they sit and listen to the argument. Dick says that this is the Kail show, and Kail responds, "Sure, whatever!" like a spoiled high school girl. Dick tells her to tell everyone the truth. Kail says that she doesn't have to do anything, and the others will make up their own minds. Dick confidently says that a lot of them already have. He calls out Kail for trying to save her own ass, saying that she is coming off as stupid, selfish, and transparent. Kail tells him that he should be worried then, and he says that he isn't. Kail asks him why they are even having this conversation then. Dick says that he is calling bullshit on her now, and is calling her a liar. He adds that she can't be trusted, and she says that she is glad to know that she has the kind of voice in the house. He responds that he only wants to let everyone know that she is full of shit. Kail tells him that it sounds like he is worried. Dick says that she is the one that needs to be worried, because when Thursday comes around, he's going to be the one gunning for her, and there is no way he will honor his agreement with her when she is campaigning to get her out of there. As he heads outside, he adds that this shows that Kail can't be trusted. Jameka looks extremely uncomfortable as she sits and eats her slop, managing to only say "Whoa!"
Kail automatically reverts directly back to her idiotic game mode, saying that there is five of them right there in the kitchen (her, Eric, Jameka, Jessica, and Mike), and she begins to beg Jameka to vote out Dick. Jameka says that she is honestly still on the fence. Jessica tells us that she is really torn because Dick is annoying to live with.
It's time to head into the Diary Room to see what Daniele, Nick, Jessica, Kail, and Dustin are thinking before the upcoming vote. Kail doesn't like how Dick will take a negative part of someone's personality, and then forecast it into the forefront of the entire house. Dustin says that he can't trust Joe to even fill him up a glass of water without thinking that he could have poisoned it. Nick says that he has a rapport with Dick, and that they get along really well. Jessica says that Dick farts and burps all of the time, and she thinks he is gross, while Nick adds that 75% of the time he is having fun, it is with Joe (that sounds interesting the way it came out), adding that he doesn't really want to lose that, while Jessica says that Joe is very manipulative, and lies to everyone about everything. Daniele tells us that she really doesn't talk to her dad much at all in the house, and it is still a very awkward situation, but she knows that regardless of whether she has his back or not, he'll always have hers. Kail says that something in her gut tells her that Dick has to go. I wonder if that something is knowing that she has screwed herself over with Dick.
Julie heads to the living room to talk with the houseguests. Julie starts with Daniele, stating that she won the Veto for the second week in a row, and this time, used it to save herself, asking Daniele how it felt to leave her dad on the chopping block. Daniele says that it was a crappy situation, but she thinks it was worse actually being on the block next to her dad, and she had to do what she had to do and make the best out of every situation, and it worked out for her.
Julie goes over to Amber.....
