Sweet, sweet revenge…

Previously on Big Brother 9, the houseguests had evicted James. However, they were shocked a few minutes later to find out that they could either vote James back to the house, or choose a mystery houseguest to return. By a vote of 5-3, James was brought back to the house. The next battle for HoH was an endurance battle to hold onto spinning disco balls outside. It came down to Natalie and James at the end. After five hours, James promised not to nominate Natalie or Matt, and Natalie dropped out of the competition, making James the new HoH.
With James in control, Matt didn’t want to reveal to him that he didn’t vote for him to return to the house, and tried to blame it on Adam. At the nomination ceremony, James kept his deal with Natalie, and nominated Sheila and Ryan for eviction. Tonight, we’ll find out who will win the PoV and if it will be used.
Tonight begins after the nominations ceremony on day 36. Sheila, still in her red unitard, hopes that the people that she trusts will come through and vote for her to stay. Natalie says she’ll protect James in exchange for him keeping his word. Matt says he knows that he’s not nominated because of Natalie. James says Ryan is a bigger threat than Sheila, and would like to see him gone.
In the storeroom, Matt hugs Natalie and thanks her for what she did. He says he’ll put himself on the line for her later if it comes down to it. He tells us that if it comes down to the two of them in the end, he hopes she wins the money. Natalie asks him for massages every night and he agrees.
Ryan asks Josh if he has his back, and Josh says yes. Ryan goes to talk to Sheila, and they say they got screwed in the game. Sheila says “I thought people lie in this game, I didn’t know you couldn’t.” Ryan says this is the worst thing that could have happened.
That night, Matt and Adam do their bible study in the pink flowery room. Tonight, they’re talking about the ark of the covenant. Matt asks Adam questions and he tells him the story of the ark and the holy grail and then they talk about Indiana Jones. Meanwhile, Ryan is on the floor listening and rolling his eyes. Matt says that if they win Big Brother, they should go look for the ark of the covenant, and Adam says they can’t, they’d need “$30 million and special equipment.”
