Big Brother 9;
Adam Has No Backbone
Episode 20
Recap
By: Logan Huffman
March 26, 2008
Previously on ‘Big Brother 9’, James backdoored Matt, which angered Natalie. The house became split, with Sharon, James, Chelsia, and Josh on one side, and Sheila, Adam, Ryan, and Natalie on the other side. Adam’s alliance gained control as he became the new HOH. Natalie convinced him to target James and Chelsia for eviction. After he nominated them, the Houseguests received a rude awakening from Evel Dick for their next Veto competition. James emerged victorious, saving himself from likely eviction, and throwing Chelsia into the limelight as the main target. Worried that he may be a replacement nominee, Josh convinced Sharon to volunteer herself to go on the block. Sharon agreed to the plan, and Adam nominated her after James saved himself. Who will be evicted tonight?
Julie welcomes us to the show, reminding us that “Nice Natalie” has turned into “Naughty Natalia” this week. Sounds like characters from a porno to me. But, Natalie has stepped up her game this week, convincing Adam to nominate James and Chelsia. But with James winning the Veto, Sharon is now faced with possible eviction.
We now go inside the house to see what has happened during our first ever Easter in the ‘Big Brother’ house. We see the flashback of the Veto meeting, as Chelsia bitterly tells us that Adam has no backbone; he did Natalie’s dirty work this week, as Chelsia adds that Natalie is one of the most pathetic people to ever walk in the ‘Big Brother’ house. Josh tells us that he is blown away with how damn good he is, and he thinks it is awesome that he convinced Sharon to go on the block for him. Natalie tells us that no one wants Sharon out of the house this week; everyone wants to get rid of the biggest threats, and that’s James and Chelsia at the moment.
Adam goes in to check on Sharon after the Veto Ceremony. She tells him that she is fine, and he did awesome. She assures him that she has his back, and he is good and he did the right thing. Chelsia tells us that she knew the risk was minimal having Chelsia on the block with her, as Sharon tells Adam that is why this is the best risk. She tells him she isn’t stressing, and he thanks her and leaves the room. Sharon tells us that she is pretty sure she has the majority of the house right now. As Adam is leaving the room, Sharon says, “Anytime, babe, anytime!” Being the pawn in this situation might be OK, but I certainly wouldn’t encourage him.
Chelsia heads outside to the backyard, telling us that the situation sucks, and while you want to be able to turn to someone, you can’t. Well, you could if you hadn’t burned almost every bridge. As we see some flashbacks of her and James, Chelsia adds that people want one of them gone, as they have had a bond since day one; people don’t like that and are jealous, and they want to break it up. Chelsia adds that James has been the only person in the game she has been able to trust.
