Big Brother 9;
Naughty, Nasty, Natalia
Episode 18

Recap
Recap by Jenny Lane
March 23, 2008

Previously on Big Brother 9, during the HoH competition, James promised Natalie that he would keep both her and Matt safe. He kept his promise and nominated Sheila and Ryan for eviction. After James found out that Matt had lied about voting to return him to the house, he used the PoV to save Sheila, and nominated Matt in her place.

Devastated by the nomination, Natalie and Matt were both reduced to puddles of tears, and Matt campaigned hard to stay. Sheila was convinced to go back on her word to save Ryan, which led to the first tie vote of the season. Breaking the tie, James chose to evict Matt from the Big Brother house.

At the next HoH competition, Adam emerged victorious and became HoH, the first time for him. Tonight we’ll find out who Adam decides to nominate for eviction.

Tonight begins right after Matt’s eviction. Natalie is sad and crying, and says she feels somewhat responsible. She is still calling Matt her soulmate, which never ceases to amaze me. Adam says he’s “bummed and pissed off.” Sheila says they’re “going to seek vengeance and fight for Matty.” James says he knows he’s a target for going back on his word, but he “got Matt out of the house successfully, and doesn’t owe anyone anything.”

After Matt leaves, Natalie (wearing a too small dress that looks more like a little girl’s nightgown) wanders around the house like a lost puppy. Josh says he voted for Ryan to stay and is working with him.

At the next HoH competition, it came down to Adam and Chelsia. Adam answered the final question correctly, and became the new HoH. He tells us that he’s “bummed because now he has to make decisions” and doesn’t like that there will be a target on him now. Sheila says “Adam will be a total hero in my eyes if he does this,” referring to when she said they’re going to seek vengeance for Matt. Chelsia says she’s mad, and is expecting it to be a tough week for her side of the house. James says his heart sunk when Adam won, and “everyone is fair game with Adam.”
