Beauty And The Geek 4: Leather Whips And Yellow Roses
Episode 3 Recap by Travis H.
October 3, 2007
Last week on Beauty and the Geek, The beauties learned about politics and current events while the geeks each wrote their own autobiographical rap, and performed it onstage in front of an audience and in front of celebrity judges Three 6 Mafia. While some of the Geeks failed miserably and forgot their lyrics, John and Will were deemed the best of worst by Three 6 Mafia but in the end, Will won the competition.
Later that day, the beauties assembled in a school auditorium for their challenge. Like in past seasons, they participated in a debate however unlike other years, they debated against each other. Some argued pro and some argued con, which Mike had to explain means for and against. In the end the decision as to who won the challenge was unanimous, and the winner was pretty boy Sam.
At the nomination ceremony, Sam says that they chose a team who did well in the competitions, Natalie and John. Will says that they picked a team because the geek in the team has been overly passive. They chose Amanda and Tony, who joined Natalie and John in the elimination round. In the end, Amanda and Tony were eliminated from the competition.
Tonight's episode begins with Natalie and John heading back upstairs to meet up with the rest of the Beauties and Geeks after winning last weeks elimination challenge against Amanda and Tony. On the way up Tony tells us he's trying to imagine positive mental images, one of which is simply relaxing. Oddly, instead of walking through the door cool, calm and relaxed, he walks in screaming and shaking his head back and forth like a madman! Everyone else is also screaming, jumping up and down and hugging but I can't tell if it's because they are truly happy to see Natalie and John, or if it was just a response to John's freaky entrance.
Everybody heads back downstairs, opens up some champagne and really seems to start cutting loose. Hollie, who actually seems pretty geeky herself, asks Will what kind of anime he brought with him. He rattles off something so fast I can't quite tell what he said but Holly seems impressed. Holly says she loves "SeaLab", which I'm assuming is anime, but have no idea. Dave, the LARPER, says he has a lot in common with Hollie, due to her geeky interests.
Hunky, pretty boy Sam doesn't seem impressed whatsoever. He admits the geeks have so much experience with knowledge, but he says he has all the experience in things the geeks no nothing about; Girls, Girls, Girls. Maybe that's true, but oddly in this house, the girls don't seem so interested in him. Regardless, Sam decides it's time to play truth or dare and everyone seems to want to play along. When it was Williams turn to dare someone to do something, he chose to have Rebecca give John and little "Booty Dance". John couldn't stop smiling, but he seemed uncomfortable and had no idea where to look. John, my friend, it's a "Booty Dance". You've got a hot girl shaking her booty in your face. Look at the booty!!! Sam has the picture though and was most definitely undressing Rebecca with his eyes.
It's now Rebecca's turn and she dares Sam to take off his shirt (so much for the girls not being interested in him) and give a "Male Stripper Dance". Apparently Joshua for some reason thought she was going to choose to have Sam strip for him and he looked as if he was going to be physically ill. I mean it looked as if he could seriously hurl right then and there. That could have been a mess. Luckily for Joshua, and apparently everyone else, Rebecca chose to have Sam strip for to geeky Nicole. Nicole, however, has a problem with others invading her personal space and was clearly uncomfortable with it, so it's decided that Sam will do his dance for the rest of the Beauties. The Beauties just eat him up and I'm not really surprised. I guess he is kind of pretty.
It's now Sam's turn and he challenges Nicole, who chooses truth. He asks her if she is attracted to any men in the house. I actually assumed that she would say no even if it was a lie as she just seems a bit uptight, but much to everyone's surprise she admits that there is someone in the house she is in fact attracted too. She refused to name names, but her admission clearly peaked David's interest. Later Nicole tells us that she is looking to meet the "Alpha Nerd", the most popular, funniest and best looking nerd in a group of nerds. A Nerd Herd? I wouldn't say David really fits her definition in this group of geeks, but you never know.
Next up someone dares Josh.....
