Biggest Loser Trainer Arrested For Assaulting Six Year Old Boy

Biggest Loser trainer Anthony Badalamenti was arrested for beating his girlfriend Jessica Muinz’s 6-year-old son with weightlifting belts. Badalamenti was arrested Friday evening at his Long Island residence after his landlord heard the boy’s screams.
The boy had multiple lacerations and bruises on his right hand, right leg and bottom. He was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for his injuries.
The landlord, Joe Salerno, said he had heard the boy’s screaming and crying for nearly a month. After hearing the child cry for help on Friday, he decided to call authorities. “The child was pleading for mercy. I said, ‘That’s it, I can’t take it anymore,” Salerno said.
Badalmenti is being held in jail on $100,000 bond. He has been arraigned on charges of second-degree assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and endangering the welfare of a child. Muniz reportedly faces the same charges.
Last year, Badalamenti helped Jim Germanakos, a Freeport police officer, lose nearly half his body weight on "The Biggest Loser."
"He just did a hell of a job with me," Germanakos told CNN host Larry King in December.
