Celebrity Apprentice 2: Respect Must Be Earned, Not Demanded

This week’s show is only an hour and after watching it I wish they would change back to this format the show seemed to run better.
Joan Rivers is going to be away on the first day of the challenge.
Brandi and Tom take on the tasks as project manager.
The project for the remaining 14 contestants is to design a bridal store and sell 125 wedding dresses. Each team is given 125 dresses and tasked with decorating their team’s retail bridal store.
Tom gives Clint Black the task of raising $100,000, Jesse James suggests a Red Carpet Sale. Tom sends Hershel and Dennis out to try and attract people to the store. Dennis has a few to many drinks, but at least starts to talk to his team.
Brandi wants the girls to bring in $100,000 before the task begins. Mellissa brings in her friend who is a world famous wedding planner and all the girls seem to be working together. They are very aware that the men will be pulling out all the stops. The women are worried that the men will poach their sales due to the fact that the stores are right beside each other.
The next morning the tables are turned. Tom is late. Dennis is late. They spent time in the Bar the night before. Jesse James suggests that maybe Tom is not the best Project Manager. Tom then shows up hung over and Dennis says he is not coming in because he has something wrong with his eyes.
The men’s store is very plain, while the women’s is very inviting. In the men's store Brian McKnight is working the sales floor and as the day goes on the women’s store become empty and the men’s store is filling up. It looks as if this challenge is going to come down to corporate sales. Clint Black brought in $35,000. Hershel brought in $16,000.
On the women’s side Annie consistently brings in the money, one of her contacts paid $10,000.
In the Board Room Tom is put on the spot about Dennis. Brandi is asked who her star was and she said Annie and Mellissa, which is saying a lot knowing how much Annie and Brandi don’t get a long.
The men’s team sold 21 wedding dresses and raised a little over $ 63,000. The women’s team sold 22 and rose over $103,000.
When the men are sitting in the board room they all agree that Tom was not a good project manager. And even worse , everyone does not like that Dennis did not show up, and then when they sent a doctor to his room he refused to see the doctor.
He also admitted that he stayed in his room and listened to Tom knock on his door for 20 minutes.
Jesse James suggests that Donald fire both of them. Dennis brought in some money; Tom did not bring in any money.
Clint Black clams that he would fire both of them.
Brian said he would fire Tom. Donald then fired Tom. NBC and the ratings more than likely had something to do with this firing.
