Dancing With The Stars: Julianna Hough Will Kick Chuck Wick's Butt February 12, 2009
Julianna Hough is paired with her country singer boyfriend Chuck Wicks on this season of Dancing with the Stars and the pro dancer reveals she plans to be tougher on him than her previous partners.
“I might kick him in the butt a little harder than with my other partners!” Hough tells People magazine. “I’m definitely a ‘crack the whip’ type of person.”
The 20-year-old says Wicks is already doing a great job dancing. “To be honest, he’s actually really good. He’s never really danced before – well, he told me he does a mean electric slide, but I never saw it!” Hough says.
The singer, who is nominated for best new female artist at the Academy of Country Music Awards, adds that doing the show together will help her and Wicks be able to spend more time together. “We never get to spend much time together. On the show, we’ll be together 24 hours a day. We’re a really good team off stage, so I think it will be fun,” Hough said.
The couple won’t be the only country music stars to compete on the show. Jewel and her husband Ty Murray are set to compete against one another. Also competing is actress Denise Richards, Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and Access Hollywood Nancy O’Dell among others.
