Dancing With The Stars: Got To Dance - Got To Have Fans
Episode 2 Recap by Jenny Lane
September 27, 2007
Earlier this week on Dancing with the Stars, the ten celebrities and their partners showed us their dancing feet for the first time. The couples danced either the Foxtrot or the Cha Cha Cha. Tonight, the couple with the lowest combined score will be eliminated.

After a look at the last two nights of dancing, it's time for the judges to announce which dance they want to see again. Len says that this couple combined classic dancing and great entertainment, and were possibly the best Cha Cha Cha that they've ever seen. Dancing an encore performance of their Cha Cha Cha are Sabrina and Mark.

Next, we look at how the couples stand after the judges' scores.
  • Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas - Cha Cha Cha - 26
  • Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough - Foxtrot - 25
  • Jane Seymour and Tony Dovolani - Foxtrot - 24
  • Melanie Brown and Maksim Chmerkovskiy - Cha Cha Cha - 24
  • Marie Osmond and Jonathan Roberts - Foxtrot - 21
  • Jennie Garth and Derek Hough - Cha Cha Cha - 21
  • Mark Cuban and Kym Johnson - Foxtrot - 21
  • Albert Reed and Anna Trebunskaya - Cha Cha Cha - 21
  • Cameron Mathison and Edyta Sliwinska - Foxtrot - 21
  • Wayne Newton and Cheryl Burke - Cha Cha Cha - 19
  • Floyd Mayweather and Karina Smirnoff - Cha Cha Cha - 18
  • Josie Maran and Alec Mazo - Foxtrot - 16
Tom and guest host Drew reveal the first two couples who are safe and moving on to next week:
  • Sabrina and Mark, no surprise there, and
  • Jennie and Derek
Our first special guest is the most honored female country singer, Dolly Parton, here to sing her Academy nominated song "9 to 5." Dancing are pros Cheryl, Derek, Julianne and Mark. Dolly is getting old, but still looks like Dolly. Her waist is teeny tiny and of course her chest is huge, and so is her hair. She's wearing a white shirt unbuttoned far enough to see her red bra underneath. It's actually probably unbuttoned because what shirt could possibly close over those things! She's also got on suspenders, short tight black pants, and black tights with designs in them. Her hair isn't big and curly anymore, but it's big and bleached. Did I mention that her waist is tiny? If her boobs weren't so big, she'd be a really small woman.

After getting some of the audience's opinions, it's time for more results. Also safe and moving on to the next round are:
  • Helio and Julianne, and
  • Albert and Anna
The next special guest is dancer Savion Glover, here to wow everyone with his tap dancing. His dancing has very little music behind it, so we can hear his feet on the wood floor. He's also got backup dancers, who sometimes accompany him and sometimes dance in unison with him.

Next is another performance by Dolly Parton, singing her new single "Better Get to Livin." She hasn't changed her clothes, and I'm really not a country music fan, so there's not much more to say. I did notice though that her patterned tights are actually see-through pants, and she's not wearing long shorts. Her pants are solid down to mid-thigh, and then they switch into see-through, patterned, sparkly pants. I can't help but wonder what Dolly wears to the grocery store.

Four couples are.....
