Dancing With The Stars 5: Here's The Initial Rankings

It was nice to see Dancing with the Stars back but I am not sure if I like this three night thing.
I also don't care for the separation of the men and the woman.
I like being able to see all the dancers at one time.
It makes it easier to determine who I like and who did a better job.
After watching both nights, I can already see some favorites emerging but I will have to wait until I can see them all at once before I make my final choices.
Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas
Current Ranking: 1 - Previous Ranking: None
Personally I don't care for Sabrina but the judges seemed to really like her. For me there was just something about her personality that I didn't care for. I have a feeling she could end up annoying me. I do feel that she probably has a huge teenage fan base and we know how those teens like to vote.
Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough
Current Ranking: 2 - Previous Ranking: None
If you would have asked me before he danced if Helio would be this high on the list and I would have said no. I have no idea who he is and I am not sure who his fan base would be. After watching him dance, I must say that even though I still don't know who the guy is, he can dance.
Cameron Mathison and Edyta Sliwinska

Soap stars have great fan bases so I have a feeling Cameron would do well even if he couldn't dance. Of course as we have discovered, he can dance so I think Cameron is going to go far. Look at what happened to the last soap star on the show.
Melanie Brown and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Current Ranking: 4 - Previous Ranking: None
Being a member of the Spice Girls does have its advantages. It is helping move Mel B up this list. I think she did well tonight and with her background and fan base she should go far.
Jennie Garth and Derek Hough
Current Ranking: 5 - Previous Ranking: None
I thought Jennie did pretty well. I thought there were ladies who did much better than her but I think she could really grow. She seems really committed to dancing so I wouldn't be surprised to see her around for many weeks to come.
Jane Seymour and Tony Dovolani
Current Ranking: 6 - Previous Ranking: None
I thought Jane did a good job tonight and I don't think she is going anywhere yet. I am not sure how well she can do in the long run but I think we will see her for a while.
Wayne Newton and Cheryl Burker
Current Ranking: 7 - Previous Ranking: None
I love Wayne and I think he will be around for a while but I wasn't all that impressed. I was expecting a bit more. I mean this is Wayne Newton, where was the pizzazz?
Mark Cuban and Kym Johnson
Current Ranking: 8 - Previous Ranking: None
I am not sure what to think about Mark. I will say that he never changes. He is as crazy now as he was the day he burst onto the scene as one of the first Internet millionaires. I really like Mark's personality so I hope to see him for at least a few more weeks. If he keeps dancing like he did tonight that shouldn't be a problem.
Albert Reed and Anna Trebunskaya

Here is another person I don't know much about. He's a model and that's about all I know. I felt he did a better job than our other model but that is not saying much. I have a feeling he might be among the first to go.
Marie Osmond and Jonathan Roberts
Current Ranking: 10 - Previous Ranking: None
I really liked watching Marie but I don't know if she has it in her to stay long term. She is one of the older ladies and she seems a bit on the crazy side. I think her personality will keep her around for awhile but she will eventually get sent home.
Floyd Mayweather and Karina Smirnoff

Here is another man who I know nothing about but the big difference this time, he can't dance. If you are not well known, you really need to come out and give it your all. I don't think Floyd did that.
Josie Maran and Alec Mazo
Current Ranking: 12 - Previous Ranking: None
Okay so no one knows who you are and you were the worst of the ladies. It does not bode well. The only way she is not going home is if Floyd has fewer fans.
