Project Runway 5: Let's Play Musical Chairs

This week's episode of Project Runway saw the designers playing musical chairs.
The designers learned they would be creating outfits for each other and using various musical genres as their inspiration. Here's who got what:
Jerell- Kenley, pop
Kenley- Leanne, hip-hop
Korto- Suede, punk rock
Leanne- Korto, country
Suede- Jerell, rock and roll
Kenley's attitude continued to be a problem for everyone. With hip-hop as her genre, she was convinced she nailed the challenge, even though Tim and the other designers questioned her choices. When Tim made his rounds, Kenley continued to blow him off and Tim took her to task for it. On the runway, she made excuses for her outfit and refused to think she had done anything less than perfect.
Speaking of the runway judging, Korto won her second challenge while Kenley and Suede were left as the bottom two. Though Kenley missed the mark considerably, Suede was eliminated when he continued to play it safe.
Only four are left and that means there's only one more challenge before the final three head to Bryant Park. Who will jump that last hurdle and make it? Who will come so close, yet so far? Find out next week and I'll see ya there.

Korto

Let's look at the facts: six consecutive weeks in the top group at the runway judgings as of this week, eight trips to the top group total, only one appearance in the bottom group, and a second challenge win this week? Korto is not budging from first place and it'll be a travesty if she does not at least make it to Bryant Park considering how incredibly strong her track record has been.

Jerell
Current Ranking: 2 Previous Ranking: 3
After having an inconsistent run throughout most of the competition, popping up in the bottom group a couple times and the top group a couple times at the runway judgings, Jerell is gaining new momentum. He won the zodiac challenge and last week's challenge and placed in the top group of this week's challenge. If he can hold strong in next week's challenge, the last one before the final three, he could find himself in Bryant Park and breaking up an all female lock on the competition.

Leanne
Current Ranking: 3 Previous Ranking: 2
Leanne kind of floated along for the first half of the competition and then burst to the forefront by winning both the car parts challenge and the Diane von Furstenburg challenge in back-to-back weeks. Now, she seems to be slipping a bit, having appeared in the bottom group at the runway judgings for the last two weeks. At this point, anyone could make it into the final three so Leanne will have to do something great in the last challenge to make sure she gets there.

Kenley
Current Ranking: 4 Previous Ranking: 4
I don't doubt that Kenley is a tough cookie and a sharp designer. However, her bratty attitude is a major problem. When Tim gives her advice, she pushes that aside and acts like he doesn't know what he's talking about. When the judges critique her, she gets defensive and fights with them. Newsflash Kenley: you're not as perfect as you think you are! That attitude and her continued use of '50s outfits as a crutch rather than an inspiration will not help her win, though I think she could still make the final three depending on who does what in the last challenge.
