Stimpy’s Thoughts
The runner-up from Exile Island is back, and the crowd goes ‘who?’.

Even though she wasn’t exactly a force during her season, Danielle did ramp things up at the end. She realized her two remaining allies - Aras and Cirie - were planning on going to the finals together, so she hooked up with Terry. She got him to teach her how to make fire quickly and that got her through the tie-breaker at the Final Four Tribal Council. And then, after winning the Final Immunity Challenge, she opted for the smartest move available and dumped Terry like a sack of potatoes.

Yeah, she still ended up losing to Aras, but she would’ve gotten a worse deck-mopping if she’d been sitting next to ‘Mr. Cool Dad Himself™’ at the end.

Danielle’s problem though was that it was a case of too little, too late.

That being said, in her video, she clearly acknowledges she didn’t play the social game well enough, and that was one of her big failings.

Realizing that and acknowledging it is huge.

Plus, the girl seems driven. She’s not back for just another kick at the can, she wants to win, and that is never a bad thing if you’ve got the chops to pull it off.

That’s the question. Does she have said chops?

Possibly.

Like I said, she’s driven. She’s also admitted her past failings and plans to fix that this time around.

She also has a history of cutting people loose with nary a thought about it.

And, she does have some abilities when it comes to the social game, because even though we didn’t see it on our screens, she formed quite the good relationship with Bruce during her first go-around and that secured his vote for her….even if she’d been up against Terry.

Don’t ask me how the hell she did that, but she did. So, that’s another plus in her favor.

Two other things of note from her video.

She mentions not getting a good vibe from Stephenie and thinks they’d be butting heads. I’m sure that CBS is a bit bummed they’re not on the same tribe, because I’m sure that would’ve made for some good TV.

The other thing, is that while Danielle plans to play a better social game (sometimes easier said than done, but whatever), she also plans to find her ‘one’. That one person she can hook up with and then pull in other numbers, but know that she and her one have a pact to go all the way.

And Danielle’s first choice? Boston Rob.

Trust me folks, there are worse choices in this cast to sidle up to. Way worse.

I dunno if she’ll actually get into an alliance with Rob or not, or if he’ll be her ‘one’, but if that comes to pass, then watch out. She could go deep.

However, if she hooks up with Douche™ or Russell the Dick™, then she’s got problems.

I’m not sure just how far Danielle will go, or if she has a real shot at this or not, but like I said, I’m getting good vibes from her video that makes me think she could do very well.
