Stimpy’s Thoughts
Ah my ‘Survivor Sweetie™’ from the Cook Islands and Micronesia returns once again.

Remember how I said with Tom, that out of the four previous winners partaking in this season, there were two that I thought could repeat? Well, Tom was one, and the others ain’t JT, or Sandra.

Some out there have argued that Parvati was next to useless during the Cook Islands season, which I counter whilst channeling Jonathan Penner, with - BOLLOCKS!

Yeah, she was a part of a cliquey alliance, but there were two very important occurrences that took place during that season that were very telling for me.

One; The one individual Immunity Challenge that ‘The Dipshit Ozzy™’ didn’t win was won by Adumb.

Sorry about that - Adam.

But here’s the thing in that one. It was one of those challenges that Probst says ‘the first three past the first stage advance’. Well as the first stage went on, Adumb got through first, followed by Penner, and then….Parvati.

Ta-freaking-dah ladies and gents. And if there had been a semblance of thought out there, considering That Dipshit Ozzy’s™ challenge acumen they would have dumped him that night. But alas, they did not.

The thing was, even though Adumb won it, he got the chance because That Dipshit Ozzy didn’t get the chance to compete in phase two of the challenge, because Parvati snuck in there instead.

Yeah, I’m reaching. It’s just on the off chance that if she ever reads my stuff she’ll be inclined to thank me by offering me the chance to lick various alcoholic beverages off of her body.

Hey, a guy can dream can’t he?

Ahem.

Moving on.

Two; This is the more telling of the points I wanted to make. After Parvati won her way into a second straight reward challenge, she started working on That Dipshit Ozzy™ with all her feminine wiles going full tilt.

After it was all over, the man controlling the game at that time ‘Dora’s Man Yul™’, decided that Parvati was the bigger threat and needed to go ASAP.

Folks, Yul was NOT an idiot. If he thought you were a threat, then you were a threat.

And, if anything, Parvati’s performance during Micronesia proved it in spades.

It was very telling in one of her post-show interviews, Parvati said that there was nothing she saw on TV that came as a shock to her, because she was talking with everyone and always knew what was going on.

That is the mark of a good player.

Toss in the fact that in her video, Parvati admits mistakes she made during Micronesia.

MISTAKES? (Instead of ‘Playoffs?’…get it? If not, email me, I’ll explain it to you…or just google it)

Wait a sec here. Didn’t Parvati win that season? How could she have done that and still made mistakes?

Because she’s a smart little cookie, and even though she won that season, she acknowledges there were things that could have screwed up her chances, and THAT my friends is not only the mark of a good player, but someone who is very aware, and more importantly than that - self-aware.

That’s why I think out of the four previous winners, Parvati’s got a great shot at repeating. Because, even though she won, she realizes that there may be room for improvement in how she plays it.

Another good thing in her favor, is that while she can be cut-throat, Parvati isn’t heartless. Unless it’s called for.

On her bio page, she says the Survivors she most respects are Cirie and Shane from Exile Island.

Fair enough on both counts.

And the Survivor she respects the least? That Dipshit Ozzy™ for being a cry-baby at the Micronesia finale.

I can’t tell you how much I respect that. Well I could, but I’d go on for about fifty paragraphs.

This girl kicks ass, takes names and looks good in a bikini doing it.

What’s not to like?
