Previously on Survivor, Fang’s rice supply continued to dwindle. Crystal spilled some of the rice on the ground, which caused drama at camp. Kota won the reward challenge and went on a helicopter ride and picnic. Sugar was sent to exile island for the fifth straight time.
The loss was more than Matty could take, and back at camp he complained to everyone about how useless Sugar is in challenges. He tried to convince Ace to vote against Sugar, but Ace convinces that Sugar and her idol are valuable. Ken and Crystal devised a plan to blindside Ace, but they would need Sugar on their side for it to work.
At the immunity challenge, Jeff revealed that both Kota and Fang would be going to tribal council, and each would be voting someone out. The challenge was instead everyone competing in log rolling for individual immunity. Despite that Bob declared himself a former champion log roller, it was Marcus who won the individual immunity. Marcus then had to assign individual immunity to a member of Fang, and he chose Sugar.
At Fang, it was obvious that Sugar would be the deciding vote. Ken went to Sugar with stories of Ace talking behind her back, and she agreed to go with the plan to blindside him. Ace then went to Sugar and asked her to give him the immunity idol, which made her think that maybe Ken was telling her the truth. She told Ace that he was safe and shouldn’t worry about the vote, and didn’t give him the idol.
At Fang’s tribal council, there was a whole lot of bickering between Crystal and Ace, and Crystal and Matty, about rice. In the end, Sugar went against her alliance with Ace, and he was voted out.
Kota’s plan seemed to be between Dan and Susie as the ones to go next. The alliance of Marcus, Corinne, Charlie and now Randy (who replaced Bob in the alliance) had kind of decided on Dan. Then Susie opened her big mouth and told Corinne that she was planning to vote her (Corinne) out. Of course Corinne didn’t take kindly to the news, and decided that Susie should be the next to go.
At tribal council, the vote was split, and the final vote was for Dan. Personally, I think that was the wrong decision, but I guess they decided that Susie would be more easily manipulated.
This week, we begin at Kota on night 21. They’re standing around the fire, talking about tribal council. Randy tells us that he voted for Susie, but Dan needed to go in case he had the idol. Corinne and Marcus tell Susie that she shouldn’t have said she was going to vote Corinne out. Corinne calls Susie out on all her complains during tribal council, and how she said she’s a stronger competitor than Corinne is. Susie tells us that the “they might think they have the power, but I have the power.” Clearly, she’s delirious.
At Fang, they’re also talking about tribal council. Matty says he’s glad that he didn’t vote Ace out, but he’s clearly shocked that Ace was blindsided. Sugar tells us that she trusts Kenny more than she trusted Ace, so that’s why she took Ace out. Crystal and Matty have a little fight about who’s going to vote who out next. Matty is worried that Crystal is mad that he voted for her to go, and he hopes that a merge is coming up soon. The four of them say that they’re going to be the final four and stick together through the merge.
The next day, Corinne is still complaining about Susie. She tells us that she’s going to “bury her alive and get my revenge.
Today’s treemail reads “for a feast that will be catered and enjoyed under the sun, it’s time to party on the equator like a beach bash, so have some fun, take only your personal possessions, all you need awaits your arrival, a brand new tribe a brand new game, a new way of survival.” They also got a spoon with their treemail, maybe because of the food that they’ll have. Everyone immediately assumes that it’s a merge, and is excited about it.
At the reward site, there is.....
