Survivor Gabon: "The Good Guys Should Win"
Recap by Jenny Lane

Previously on Survivor, Corinne and Bob were outnumbered five to two, so they launched a plan to try to ensure their survival. Bob made another fake hidden immunity idol. Corinne told Kenny about the idol, and convinced him to flip to their side and vote Matty out. Bob showed Crystal the idol, and the two agreed to vote Matty out. In a decision that would come back to bite Kenny in the ass, he and Crystal decided that Crystal should vote for Corinne, and Kenny should vote for Matty.
At tribal council, Corinne of course did not play the fake idol. She was voted out, and it became obvious that Kenny had voted against his alliance.
Tonight begins on night 33, after tribal council. When they get back to camp, Matty is furious about Kenny’s vote against him. He confronts Kenny right away about it. Kenny tells Matty about the hidden immunity idol, but Matty isn’t buying it. Kenny tells us that he’s been making the decisions from day one and he’s the mastermind of the game. Matty tells Kenny not to lie, and walks away from him.
Sugar tells Matty and Crystal not to worry, “Matty is going next if Bob wins.” Crystal says she wishes she would have voted for Matty, and hopefully they’ll be able to vote him out next.
Kenny asks Bob why they didn’t play the hidden immunity idol at tribal council. Bob admits that the idol was fake. Kenny says “I trusted you and Corinne, you lied to me, and now my game is messed up.” Bob feels genuinely horrible about putting Kenny in this position, and he seems to have forgotten that Crystal went against their agreement. In what could be the dumbest move ever, Bob says that if he wins the next immunity, he’ll give it to Kenny.
The next day, it’s time for the reward challenge. There is a short obstacle course set up that runs through some water and over some netting. Behind the start of the obstacle course is a basketball hoop, set up like the ones that you play at the arcade to win tickets.
Everyone will race through the obstacle course and retrieve a ball from the other end. Then they will race back and shoot the balls into the baskets. They will keep shooting that ball until it lands in the net. The first person to get three balls into their net wins.
The winner will take a helicopter to a national park, where they will visit a gorilla sanctuary. They’ll have food, a shower, and will stay overnight. The winner will also send one person to exile island.
As the race begins, Matty is out in front, and Bob is in last place. Kenny overtakes the lead for a bit, but then Matty regains it. The balls at the other end are tied up, so some time can be made up for those who are good at knots. Matty heads back with his first ball, with Kenny in second place and Bob in third.
Matty gets his first ball into his net first, followed by Kenny and Bob. As Bob heads out for his first ball, Matty returns with his second one. The women are all still struggling to make their first ball.
Matty and Bob both get their second ball in their nets at about the same time, followed closely behind by Kenny. The guys all have their final ball, and the girls still haven’t gotten one ball into their nets. Bob is the more precise shooter, and gets his final ball into his net first, winning reward.
Jeff tells Bob that he gets to take someone with him on the reward, and he chooses Crystal. Then Jeff says that Bob gets to choose one more person, and he immediately picks Kenny. Bob decides to send Suzy to exile island, so it will just be Sugar and Matty back at camp.
Bob tells us that he needs.....
