Survivor Samoa: Two Idols And One Arrogant Fool Gone

At tribal council, Jeff asks Jaison about the merge. Jaison says the numbers are frustrating, and he’s used to having some control over his life. Monica says you never know who to trust, so even though Foa Foa is down in numbers, you never know.
Erik says he “struggles to see anything that Foa Foa has to offer Galu, if they were able to get a Galu member to turn in a very cohesive team, I would be floored, my heart goes out to them but they’re in the hole.” Russell says “I don’t like pity, we have a lot to offer, and I think he’s going to be surprised.” Jaison says he’s here to play the game, and he has a strong problem with the tone that Erik is taking.
Erik goes on and on about each of the Foa Foa members, and how they are basically worthless. Jaison talks about how he has had to fight his whole life, and this takes him back to those days. Back and forth between the two of them…yawn… Then there’s some back and forth between Russell and Erik, so I have to believe that Erik isn’t making any friends right now.
It’s time to vote. Russell votes for Erik, but that’s the only one that we see.
Jeff starts to read the votes, but first, Russell stands and plays the immunity idol. He says “everybody knows I have it, I might as well play it,” which in a way is true I guess.

Erik (Shambo now looks confused, and Monica looks thrilled)

The seventh person to be voted out, and the first member of the jury, is Erik. There are a lot of smiles, but Shambo’s jaw has dropped open. Jeff says “first vote as a new tribe, first blindside, this is definitely a new game.”
Next week, Galu targets Russell as the next to go. As the credits roll, Erik says he’s proud of how he played, and admits that he was completely blindsided. We also see that everyone except Erik and Shambo voted for Erik, and they’re the two that voted for Jaison.
