So You Think You Can Dance: Will The Underdog Streak Continue? - Ranking The Final Four

Unlike the disastrous result’s show that was last week, this week on So You Think You Can Dance, America got it right with who they sent into the finale.
We have four very different competitors, who each bring something unique and special about them to make them all certifiable contenders.
We have Brandon, who since his audition has been a frontrunner in the competition, and even though last week was his one rough patch, he has never wavered in talent or in popularity. By all accounts, Brandon may walk away as the frontrunner winner who has seemed like a victorious champion since day one.
However, we have all witnessed as reality television fanatics that 2009 is the year of the underdogs.
Almost every single reality show this year, with the exception of J.T.’s win on Survivor: Tocantins and Teyona’s win on America’s Next Top Model, has featured a winner who was a true underdog that no viewer could have predicted as the last one standing in their competition. Britain’s Got Talent, Make Me a Supermodel, Dancing With the Stars, and American Idol all had winners who no one would have guessed from the beginning that they were destined to win the show, and it’s not that they had zero talent, but there were just much bigger and more deserving competitors that seemed like a shoo-in to win the whole shebang.
If this trend continues, I can almost guarantee Brandon will not be the winner, but be another Travis and Danny, a runner-up who wins for technicality but not favoritism.
Therefore, I feel that the underdog winner will be Jeanine this year.
This season, the women have all performed better than the men, and Jeanine is a true underdog. Like Kris Allen, no one had really seen her perform until the live performances, and as soon as Jeanine broke away from her popular partner, Phillip, and demonstrated her own individual talent in the Top 14 solo, there was no stopping Jeanine’s popularity and strength in the competition. I feel as of now, it is Jeanine’s to lose and I would actually be shocked but not completely upset if she lost.
Kayla and Evan are the other two competitors left who I feel both don’t have a shot at winning, even though I am strongly rooting for one of them.
Kayla is like the Danny Gokey of the competition. The judges constantly fawn over him even though it isn’t really deserved, and even though Kayla deserves all the praise she gets, the viewers become frustrated at the judge’s favoritism and backlash ensues.
Out of anyone in the top four, Kayla has had the most trips to the bottom, and even though I am rooting for her to win, I am bracing myself for an obvious reality that she won’t be this season’s winner. And then we have Evan, who is the only competitor remaining in the competition that has never once fallen into the bottom.
I think it’s possible to count on all ten fingers the number of times the judge’s have criticized a performance, but that obviously has not stopped the fans from speed dialing. However, this is the finale, and while Evan is certainly not a talentless nut like Sanjaya, the fan treatment is oddly similar.
I think Evan has definitely.....
