Amazing Race: Nobody Goes Home - Speed Bump Ahead

When we last left our favorite racers, Ty and Aja got sent home, Tina and Ken lost the top slot, and Terrence got himself a speeding ticket. I was sure last week was going to be a non-elimination round but I was wrong. Good thing I am not a betting woman because I would be out of money. Since we only have six teams left, this week has to be the first non-elimination. Of course I thought the same thing last week and look where that got Ty and Aja. If this is not a non-elimination round this week, I will be very surprised.
Can you believe that my first sentence will not begin with Ken and Tina getting to depart first? Instead Nick and Star will be the lucky team to depart first. This week the two get to depart at 11:22 pm with the first clue. The teams will now fly 2000 miles to Delhi, India. When they arrive they will need to take a taxi and locate Moon Light motors where they will get their next clue. This week, the teams have to go to a travel agent and book flights instead of going straight to the airport. The remaining teams leave the Pit Stop at the following times:
Toni and Dallas: 11:34 pm
Ken and Tina: 11:53 pm
Kelly and Christy: 11:59 pm
Terrance and Sarah: 12:05 pm
Frat boys: 12:29 pm
While waiting for flights, Star and Dallas use the time to flirt. Apparently the two really like each other and use their spare time to flirt. Terrence and Sarah, who finished the race in third, ended up almost last due to the ticket they got. They seem to be taking it well though. At the travel agent, all the teams work to find the best flight and directions to use once they get to Delhi. There don’t seem to be many flights to Delhi from Cambodia so all the teams end up on the same flight. All the teams leave and head for the airport. They board the flight and head to Dehli. With all the teams now even it will be a footrace once the plane hits the ground.
As I suspected, the teams hit the ground running. Nick and Star and Christy and Kelly continue with the catty behavior we have become use to. Nick and Star are picking at what the other two are wearing. While I will admit that there outfits are a little tight and short it really doesn’t have anything to do with the clothes. All the teams are on the road and some of them are having a hard time finding the next clue. It appears the place is kind of hidden so it is hard to locate. Star and Nick are the first to find the place. They race in and find a Roadblock. Teams must help the local taxi drivers go green. They will paint over the black paint with green to indicate that the taxis are using natural gas. Before they can paint they must mask the yellow exterior and interior with newspaper. Once they finish they will get the next clue. Star gets to work just as the frat boys arrive. Andrew joins Star and gets busy. Toni and Dallas arrive next. Toni gets to work while the other teams are still on the road lost.
Kelly and Christy finally arrive while Ken and Tina and Terrence and Sarah fight with their drivers. Terrence and Sarah finally find the right place leaving Ken and Tina in last place for the first time. They finally stop and ask a local. He leads them to the right place and Ken gets to work. All the teams are now working to get the painting done. Tina and Terrence are being very nasty to their partner. They are both trying to control their partners and it makes them look like huge asses. Like Andrew said, if they wanted it done a certain way then they should have done it themselves. It looks like Ken and Sarah have about had enough. Of course since they are on a race around the world they are a little stuck. The Frat boys on the other hand are working together well for the first time and finish first. They must now travel thru the overcrowded streets to the Ambassador Hotel. Once there they will search the grounds for the Indian doorman to find their next clue. The two head off just as Nick and Star finish up. They head out and try to catch up to the frat boys.
