The Amazing Race: Ring That Bell Or Go Home

Teams must choose either farmers game or farmers dance. In farmer’s game, teams must go to a creek and then swim across. They must then play three holes of farmer’s golf.
In farmers dance, they must ring a bell and then learn a local dance. If they learn it correctly they will be given a salted herring. They must eat the herring to receive the next clue.
While the head teams pick their Detour, Erica gets the number wrong again. Sam and Dan and Meghan and Cheyne both choose to play golf.
Matt and Gary and Tiffany and Maria chose to dance. Sam and Dan finish first and get the next clue.
This time teams have to bike to the local harbor. This will be the Pit Stop. Matt and Gary head inside to dance and then realize that they are going to have to eat herring. They choose to switch to play golf.
Flight Time and Big Easy arrive at the Detour and decide to dance.
Erica finally gets the number right and they head off. Unless this is a non-elimination round they are so going home.
Sam and Dan on the other hand arrive at the Pit Stop and Phil declares them team number one. For winning this leg of the race they won a sand buggy.
Meghan and Cheyne finish golf and head off. They arrive on Phil’s mat in second place.
Gary and Matt arrive and swim across. Tiffany and Maria are unable to ring the bell so they are forced to switch tasks.
Brian and Erica arrive and decide to dance. They also forget to read the clue and start walking instead of riding the bicycles.
Flight Time and Big Easy quickly ring the bell, learn the dance, but the herring gives them a little trouble. They do finish and get the next clue.
Tiffany and Maria quit golf too and head back to dance again. They still cannot ring the bell so they take a moment to hug it out and cry.
Brian and Erica finally realized that they forgot the bikes but decide to go ahead and complete the task without the bikes.
Flight Time and Big Easy arrive at the Pit Stop where Phil declares them team number three. Gary and Matt finish their task and head for the Pit Stop. They are team number four.
Tiffany and Maria are on attempt number 71 on the bell when they give up head back to play golf. Brian and Erica meanwhile get the bikes and arrive and Brian easily rings the bell. They head in dance and eat the herring.
The girls on the other hand are struggling with golf. Brian and Erica head off to the Pit Stop and arrive on the mat. Phil tells them that since they broke the rules, they have received a thirty minute penalty. They have to wait to see if Tiffany and Maria show up.
After thirty minutes, Phil checks them in as team number five.
Tiffany and Maria are still trying to finish the golf task and they are just unable to do it. Phil arrives and the two quit the race.
They are eliminated from the race leaving five teams.
Next week in Sweden teams get to blow stuff up and then in another first, teams will compete in a task that we have seen before.
If you are a long time fan, you should remember the infamous hay roll Roadblock. If I remember correctly the racers will have to unroll the hay stack to find a clue. It is time consuming and frustrating and really fun to watch.
