The Amazing Race: Making Hay And Not Going Home

Last week the poker girls finally ran out of luck. They ended up quitting after not being able to complete either Detour.
This season on the Race has been a little boring. The last couple of seasons I have had trouble connecting with the majority of the teams.
Each season there are a few teams I enjoy but there use to be a time when there were more teams on the race I liked than I disliked. I have hopes that one day the race might return to that. Until then I will have to do with what we are given.
Last week, Sam and Dan came in first so this week they get to leave first this week at 9:33 pm. Teams will have to fly to Stockholm Sweden and then travel by train and ferry to find a local amusement park.
They will have to locate the tallest ride there to find the next clue. The other teams depart the Pit Stop and head for the airport at the following times:
9:48 pm- Meghan and Cheyne
10:32 pm- Flight Time and Big Easy
11:08 pm- Gary and Matt
1:38 pm- Brian and Erica
All the teams arrive at the airport. There are two flights to Stockholm but most of the ticket windows don’t open until to 5:30 am.
After a long night all the teams try to get on the 6:55 am but only Sam and Dan, Meghan and Cheyne, and Flight Time and Big Easy get tickets. Gary and Matt and Brian and Erica must purchase seats on the 9:25 flight.
The first set has a huge advantage over the others. They arrive in Stockholm and quickly board the train. Well Flight Time and Big Easy miss the train so now it looks like Meghan and Cheyne and Sam and Dan have the best chance of winning this leg. After catching a ferry and arriving at the amusement park, the team race and have no trouble locating the clue box.
They grab the next clue which tells them that one team member will have to ride the tallest ride and locate an arrow while up in the sky. The direction of the arrow will lead them to their next clue. If they don’t see it they have to ride again. Sam and Cheyne choose to ride and work together to find the arrow.
The two teams follow the arrow and find the next clue. Teams must throw a ring on a gnome hat. Once they have completed the task, the attendant will hand them the Travelocity gnome hidden underneath. Their next clue is on the bottom of the gnome.
They must keep the gnome with them for the rest of this leg. Once both teams have their gnome, they discover a detour. In this detour, teams will have to choose to set off an explosion to uncover their next clue or decode a message using the Viking alphabet. Once they have it they can trade in for the next clue. Both teams decide to blow things up.
Flight Time and Big Easy arrive at the amusement park and finish both tasks. They head off to blow stuff up.
The next flight arrives and.....
