The Amazing Race 16: Cowboys, Cabbie's, Cops And Intersections - Ranking The Remaining 8
Rankings by RTVC Staff Writer James Kuz

Hey everyone, I hope you are ready for another episode of the Amazing Race!

This leg definitely had its fair share of challenges, so let’s get to it…

Last leg, Jet and Cord continued their dominance on the race and arrived at the pitstop first for the second week in a row. Unfortunately, Monique and Shawne struggled with using a lasso and couldn’t regain the time they lost leading to their elimination from the race.

This leg we found out that the teams were traveling to Germany. Jet and Cord depart first and all the teams make their way to the airport to catch a flight to Germany. Jet and Cord and Louie and Michael managed to get the earliest flight, while the other teams arrived later.

The teams made their way to the first challenge, which involved an intersection, meaning that teams have to pair up with another team to complete a roadblock.

The following teams paired up: Jet and Cord and Louie and Michael, Joe and Heidi and Steve and Allie, Carol and Brandy and Dan and Jordan, and Jordan and Jeff and Brent and Caite.

For the roadblock they had to bungee jump in the middle of the city. Brandy looked terrified when she found out she was going to have to do it, but she managed to get through it.

Eventually teams made their way to the detour, which involved either eating a plate of sauerkraut before a song stopped, or hitting targets while playing soccer.

The song playing while eating the sauerkraut seemed long so as long as teams ate the sauerkraut at a rapid pace they would be able to finish easily.

Louie and Michael and Carol and Brandy had no problem eating the sauerkraut. Jet and Cord did surprisingly well at the soccer detour as well as Joe and Heidi.

Unfortunately Jordan and Jeff had a terrible cab driver and it took a long time for them to get their detour done. Brent and Caite also experience troubles when Caite’s leg started hurting her at the soccer detour, but they got it done.

After the detour teams had to make their way to a bar to drink a boot of beer. Louie and Michael once again had no problem drinking the beer, while Jet and Cord were being laughed at by locals for having trouble drinking all of it. Nobody was worse than Brent and Caite, though as Brent vomited all over the street.

Eventually teams made their way to the pitstop at Indra in the red light district, where the Beatles first performed together. Louie and Michael were able to capitalize on their lead and finish first.

Ultimately Jordan and Jeff’s cab driver set them too far back and arrived last, but…it was a non-elimination leg! I was so happy! Hopefully they will make a comeback next leg.

Well next leg teams experience World War I, which looks pretty cool, but here’s the re-ranking of the remaining eight teams:
