The Mole: “I Love You, Chocolate Bear!"
Episode 6 Recap by Logan Huffman
July 20, 2008

Previously on 'The Mole', Craig angered the others when he assigned forms of transportation to the others in order to earn his exemption. And Paul and Clay went for each other's jugulars, as a huge fight erupted while driving in their van. In the end, Kristen's strategy backfired, and she became the Mole's next victim.

This episode begins with Nicole telling us that Dr. Diva is the last woman standing, and while she is proud to be the last woman standing, she would rather be the last player standing. Paul tells us that all he really wants to do right now is out survive Nicole, as he feels that she is all the game isn't supposed to be.

We remain in Mendoza for this week's first mission, as the players meet Jon at a vineyard. He congratulates the players on reaching the final six, and Nicole on being the last woman standing. Nicole remarks that she will be around for a while. Paul looks pissed. Nicole tells us that being the only woman is more about pride, as she doesn't want to let a bunch of boys beat her in the game.

Jon welcomes the players to Lagarde Vineyard, in the heart of Argentina's wine country, where some of the finest wine is produced. Clay tells us that while you would think a vineyard would have a very pleasant smell of bubbly wine, it actually stinks...bad. Jon reminds the players that $177,000 is currently in the pot, and this mission will give them a chance to earn even more.

Jon instructs the players to split into two groups: three runners and three thinkers. Mark, Clay, and Alex decide to be the runners, while Paul, Nicole, and Craig are the thinkers. The runners choose their best athlete, Mark, while the thinkers have to select their best communicator. Paul volunteers himself, thinking that he would be the best since he is the loudest. Nicole tells us that after Paul raised his voice and declared that he was the best communicator, she was thinking, "Oh, great, there goes his mouth one more time!"

This mission is called 'The Grapes of Cache', and the players will have to find seven bottles of wine hidden throughout the vineyard. Each bottle that is returned to Jon will be worth $10,000, for a possible earning of $70,000.

Here's how the mission will work: the thinkers will have to answer seven multiple-choice brain teasers, and then relate their answers to Paul, the communicator. Paul will communicate the answer with corresponding coordinates to the runners via a cell phone. The runners will use Paul's coordinates and a GPS system to find the bottles of wine. Clay is worried, as he tells us that technology isn't his strong point, adding that his wife sets up the VCR and computer.

Of course, if the answers are wrong, the coordinates will be wrong, and the bottles will be nearly impossible to find. Mark, as the best athlete, will be the timekeeper. He will be running on a treadmill, which will increase in speed each time the players find a bottle of wine. Paul can't help the thinkers come up with the answers, but if Mark isn't too tired, he is allowed to help.

Everyone gets into their places, and Jon begins the mission. As Craig and Nicole uncover the first brain teaser, Jon begins the treadmill for Mark. As the guys head off, Mark wishes them luck. Mark tells us that he is in control of the game, since as long as he is on the treadmill, the mission continues. However, he also adds that it is a burden, because if he screws up, he is responsible for ruining the entire mission.

The players read brain teaser number one: Which word from the following list does not fit: Ice, Cheese, Wood, Plastic, Chocolate. Nicole thinks it's plastic, which isn't even one of the multiple choices! Hmm. Mark says that all of them are congealed except for wood, so they decide to go with wood.

Nicole reminds us that they are keeping a tally on the board, and after they come up with the answers, Paul is responsible for relaying the coordinates to Alex and Clay. Paul tells the guys the first set of coordinates, and Alex and Clay begin heading towards the location of the first bottle of wine.

Paul tells us that he had to communicate the coordinates to Clay, who he has recently had some problems with, adding that they had to find a way to work together. Paul confirms with Clay that it is two coordinates per answer, but Clay thinks that it is only one. Paul tries to explain to him that each coordinate relates to one direction, like southwest, northeast, and so on. Clay doesn't really seem to understand, and asks for the south coordinate again. Paul shakes his head. Alex says that this can't be the right place, as they are unable to find a bottle. Alex predicts that this will take forever.

While the guys continue to search for the first bottle of wine, Nicole and Craig move on to brain teaser number two, which is a fill-in the missing number brain teaser. Craig figures out that it's some complicated math equation, but they go with B.

They move on to brain teaser number three: Some months have 30 days, others have 31, but how many months have 28 days? Craig and Nicole just stand and stare at the question. But Mark catches the trick, saying that every month has 28 days, so the answers is C, all twelve months. Mark thought that the question was just common sense and it shouldn't have taken more than two seconds to answer, adding that with Craig and Nicole answering the questions, if one of them is the Mole, that is a really prime place where they can screw things up.

The thinkers move along to brain teaser number four, which has the letters A, B, and C throughout a diamond, and asks how many ways you can read ABC off the diamond. Paul tells us that the most frustrating part of the mission for him was not being able to help with the answers, as he saw two smart people taking so long on questions that he thought were fairly easy, which he found suspicious. Nicole guesses that the answer is C, as she can only find ten ways, and 12 is the closest number above 10 (although there is a none of the above). Craig seems unsure, and Nicole admits that she is guessing. Apparently, Paul thinks the answer is something else, as he is wringing his hands in frustration.

Meanwhile, Clay and Alex have finally found the first bottle, which Paul announces to the group. Nicole and Craig high five in celebration, as Clay tells us that they were pretty excited when they found their first wine bottle, but they knew Mark's treadmill speed would increase, and the likelihood of him being able to continue would decrease. Jon turns the speed on the treadmill up to level six, which makes me have flashbacks of Mirna screaming at Charla to go like level seven (or maybe it was level five) on the treadmill when they were trying to outrun Rob and Amber on 'Amazing Race: All Stars". Ahh, good times.

Paul calls out the next set of coordinates to Clay and Alex, while Nicole and Craig move on to brain teaser number five, which is another number sequence. Mark quickly determines the answer before Craig and Nicole have a chance. Meanwhile, Alex and Clay find their second bottle of wine. Jon increases Mark's treadmill speed once again.

Paul gives Clay and Alex the next set of coordinates. Meanwhile, the thinkers have gone on to brain teaser number six, which is a logic problem involving height and figuring out which person is the tallest. I think we all remember those problems from our school math tests. Nicole thinks that the answer is C, but Mark believes that it is none of the above. Paul tells us that Nicole says that she is a very smart individual, but Mark was answering most of the questions, and he believes that Nicole is trying to sabotage the group, finishing by saying that he doesn't trust her as far as he can throw her.

Clay finds the third bottle of wine, and Mark's treadmill speed increases yet again. As twenty minutes have elapsed thus far, Craig and Nicole go on to the final brain teaser. Craig and Nicole both deduce that the answer is C for the final question. Paul goes ahead and gives the coordinates for the final brain teaser to confirm Craig and Nicole's answer.

Alex and Clay follow the coordinates, but have no luck finding the bottle. Paul reminds them that the answer could be wrong, and they are convinced that it is. Paul tells the thinkers and Mark that number seven is wrong, and they all seem surprised. Nicole lightly wipes the answer off the board. Paul comes over and erases the answer off better, and snaps at Nicole. Nicole tells him that she did wipe it off, and Paul repeats for her to wipe off the answer. Nicole tells him to leave them alone.

Paul explains to us that he decided to wipe an incorrect answer off the board, and he doesn't think Nicole took kindly to that. Nicole reminds Paul that he can't help. Paul wonders why she would want to keep an incorrect answer on the board. Nicole tells him that they don't want to break any rules, and Paul snaps back that she is the queen of breaking rules. Nicole asks him not to do this today, and Paul sarcastically replies okay. Paul tells her that she isn't too smart for a doctor. Nicole replies that he is about to kiss her ass. Paul retorts that he isn't touching that hairy thing.

As Clay and Alex request another coordinate, Paul and Nicole continue to bicker, as Paul says that "the doctor" has no answers. Nicole replies that she isn't even going there today, telling us that of course, Paul had to go on a tirade, which she's used to by now, and she just thought "Shoo, little man, shoo!" Nicole tells Craig that Paul is just going to go on his little epithets, and try to personally insult her. Paul responds that there is no need to insult her, as she insults herself, which amazes him. Paul tells us that he has wanted to see Nicole go home since day one, as she is a thorn in his side.

Alex and Clay are still asking Paul for more coordinates, but he is still too busy arguing with Nicole to listen. Nicole repeats that she doesn't need his personal insults, while Paul tells her that he can't wait for her clients to see this one. Clay is still trying to contact Paul, as Nicole is sarcastically telling Paul that she loves him. Paul makes a mocking face to the camera.

The runners now have four out of seven bottles, and Paul finally gives them another coordinate. Meanwhile, the thinkers go back to answer question seven again. Nicole can't figure it out, but Mark chimes in that he thinks it is A, explaining his reasoning behind it. Nicole takes his word for it and changes the answer.

Now, the pressure is on the runners as all of the brain teaser have been solved. Mark has already been running for twenty-one minutes, and the runners have to hurry before Mark breaks down. Clay finally finds another bottle, and Alex asks if they should just act like the Mole and break open a few bottles and drink them. Clay comments on how Alex has a propensity when he drinks, and the trust would come in if he broke them on the way back. Alex predicts that Mark is burning.

Since another bottle has been found, Jon hikes up the difficulty on the treadmill. Paul gives the runners another coordinate, but gives them the wrong west coordinate. After Clay and Alex begin to look with no luck, Paul tells them to scratch it, and gives them the correct coordinate, saying that they changed answers on him. However, none of the other answers had the incorrect coordinate. Nicole tells us that Paul blaming his mistake on them was a little suspicious to her.

Clay and Alex find the bottle, and quickly ask Paul for another coordinate, while Jon turns the treadmill up yet again. Alex comments that you have to love how far apart the bottles are, while Clay explains that if you found one bottle, the next one was the complete opposite direction, and he thinks it was designed to get you scattered and flustered.

Clay and Alex find the sixth bottle, as Jon maxes out the treadmill on Mark. Paul gives the guys the final coordinate, and Alex says that they have a ways to go to reach the bottle. Clay wonders how Mark is doing. Jon informs us that if the guys don't get back with the bottles before Mark tires out, the group will win nothing. Mark says to tell the guys they need to hurry, and Craig passes the message along to Paul. Clay says that they are going as fast as possible, but the vineyard is slanted.

Clay and Mark finally find the last bottle, and try to hurry back, hoping that Mark can keep up the pace. The guys finally make it back, and Mark jumps off the treadmill and hugs Nicole, who comments that he is all sweaty. Craig adds that he is nasty, as Alex gives Mark a big hug. Jon comments that Mark was on the treadmill for 53 minutes, and the group has earned $70,000, bringing the total pot to $247,000. Mark tells us that it was a good feeling, as it was the most the group has earned so far. Paul tells us that he thought Mark was amazing, as he not only kept the pace on the treadmill, but answered most of the questions as well. Now that the mission is over, Alex jokingly asks if anyone has a corkscrew.

After the mission, the group sits down for wine and cheese, and Nicole toasts to money. After that, the group heads back to the hotel for the night. Alex asks Paul what was going on with Nicole, and Paul says that she didn't answer any of the questions, adding that she says that she is smart, but also says that she does best when she guesses. After adding that he hasn't liked her since day one, Paul says that he hopes she doesn't guess with her patients. Alex concludes that Nicole didn't participate in the mission, as Alex tells us that Nicole is his A-1 suspect for the Mole right now. Paul adds that Mark would give the answer, and Nicole would claim to know that and do her fake laugh. Unfortunately, I can't copy Paul's impressions of Nicole, but you all get the idea. Paul adds that he hates her, can't stand her, and feels bad for her patients, because if she doesn't like you, she'll probably leave you to die. Paul tells us that a lot of things doesn't fall into place with her, and he's starting to believe she's not a doctor. Paul says that she's a liar, while Alex says that she's a rogue Mole.

In another room, Mark is telling Clay that he just can't believe Nicole is the Mole. Clay says that she has been suspicious, but everyone is suspicious, and he's not quite sure what he will do on the upcoming quiz. Clay tells us that he has moments where he thinks Mark is the Mole, and he doesn't even trust the information Mark gives him; he trusts his gut, so if Mark turns out to be the Mole, he wouldn't be surprised. Mark says that all of them there could be implicated in no fewer than three sabotages, as he tells us that everyone there is good at pretending to be, or being, the Mole. Mark asks Clay what he thinks now, and Clay thinks that everyone's the Mole. I don't think so.

The next morning, Alex has made up a rap: Nicole is the Mole. Nicole is lying on the bed, saying that she is "Mole-a-riffic", which is why she is the only girl still there. Craig says that he does have his suspicions that Nicole is the Mole, as he thought she would either be around until the end, or go early, since she doesn't take many notes. Craig ponders why they had to get rid of so many of the women, and why they had to get rid of the good ones. Alex laughs, but Nicole says that she didn't even hear what he said. Craig says that he said that at least they kept the good one. Good save, Craig!

Mark says that his quiz time is still slower than Alex's, which means that they need to encourage him to drink more before the quizzes. Clay says that he has been doing that, and he keeps pouring him more wine, but he agrees. Mark wants him to drink at least two bottles before the next quiz, which probably means that we'll get to see Alex vomiting all over the laptop, or even funnier, vomiting all over Jon. Clay tells us that Alex is still there, but hasn't had an exemption to date, which puzzles him, making him think that Alex is either the Mole, or performs better with a bottle of wine a day.

As the players ascend a mountain in their van for the next mission, Jon tells us that they will get to experience the leaps and bounds of the culture. Mark tells us that they kept driving and driving until they rounded one corner, where they saw a gorge and a bridge across it. Mark adds that Craig instantly turned white. Craig exclaims, "Oh, crap!"

The players head out of the van and over to see Jon. He tells them that today's mission is called 'Swing Out', and the mission is worth $60,000. Jon explains that they are standing on a bridge, 90 feet above the Mendoza River. Jon says that one at a time, they will be harnessed up, and will walk onto a small wooden platform with a bag of mate, which is a popular local tea. They will then jump off the bridge, and try to throw the mate at a target below. If they hit the bullseye, they win $10,000 for the pot, and the outer rings go down by $2,000 increments.

After learning all of this, Nicole tells us that her first thought was that she isn't jumping off of anything at all, no matter what. Nicole volunteers Mark to go first, while Nicole says that she is going last, explaining to us that she needed to think about whether she was actually going to do it.

Mark gets harnessed up first, and Jon gives him his bag to throw as he edges towards the end of the platform. Paul jokingly asks Craig if the plank has been tested for weight. Paul comfortingly tells everyone that if it doesn't work out, they won't feel anything. As Mark admits that it is freakier than he thought it would be at the edge of the platform with the wind blowing, Jon asks him if he is interested in an exemption. He says that he is, and Jon tells him to guess how much the group will earn today in the mission, and the person who is closest without going over will win the exemption. I would take a cue from 'The Price Is Right' and guess $1! Mark says that he thinks three people won't even do it.

Paul wonders what Mark is doing, and Craig tells us that when he saw Mark out on the platform for so long, he wondered why he wasn't just doing it and was taking so long. Craig thinks that Mark may be chickening out, but Paul and Alex disagree. Mark tells Jon that if only three people do it, and you have to hit the target, he only thinks they will earn $10,000. Jon wishes him luck, and after saying that it's crazy, Mark jumps, but the bag falls just short of the target. Mark tells us that the drop left an amazing feeling in your stomach, and everything seemed in slow motion, so he just tried to fling it towards the target, but missed. Mark says that was about the craziest thing he has ever done. Since he said about, he must have had some crazy college years.

Paul gets harnessed up next, saying that he doesn't understand how they get more money for finding wine bottles than jumping off bridges, asking Jon if he knows that he is a sick individual. As Paul climbs across to the platform, Jon says that his muscles must be tensing up. Paul tells him to shut up, adding that he didn't see him do it. Jon says that he did it earlier and hit the target. Paul tells us that walking out on the platform was the scariest thing he has done. As he edges out, he says that it sucks, and says, "Oh, shit!" once he gets to the edge.

At the edge, Jon asks Paul if he has looked down or to the sides, as it is beautiful. Paul says that he refuses to look around, adding that he and Jon are in a fight after this. Jon dryly says, "If you make it back!" Jon tells Paul about the exemption, as Paul tells us that when you're standing out there on the edge and probably the most scared you've been in your life, it's the hardest time to come up with a calculation.

After Jon gets Paul's guess, Paul tells his family that he loves them, and leaps off of the bridge. Mark thinks Paul will hit the target, but Paul's throw is way off and goes into the water. Paul says that hitting the target was the hardest thing, as he was backwards when he was trying to throw it, and by the time he saw the target, it was too late. As he looks at his bag in the water, Paul says that it was insane.

Before Clay goes, he asks the group for a rally cry. Craig says, "I love you, chocolate bear!", while Alex says that they miss him already. Jon asks Clay if he has done this before as he edges out onto the platform. Clay says, "Heck no!", as Jon encourages him to look at the target. Clay tells us that he was just trying to focus on not slipping, but Jon thought it was the perfect time to offer an exemption. After his guess and before he jumps, Clay thinks that when in Mendoza, do as the Mendozans do.

Jon encourages Clay to look at the target again, but Clay says that he doesn't think they'll move it. Clay jumps off with his eyes closed, and Jon says that he better open them. He tosses the bag, but it lands way above the target. Mark says that Clay did a back dive, while Paul says he thinks he had his eyes closed the whole time. Clay tells Jon that he thinks they moved the target, but Jon says that he thinks it was just Clay's brain moving around in his skull.

Craig says that he isn't comfortable, as he turn has come, and Jon replies that 90 feet isn't anything to sneeze at. Craig says that he doesn't dangle well, telling us that he has vertigo, and this was 100 times worse for him than 'Over the Falls'. Craig adds that when he looks down, everything spins and he gets dizzy, adding that this is going to be very hard for him. Craig isn't sure he wants to jump, but then Jon tells him about the exemption. Craig tells us that this was the worst place and time for him to try and calculate numbers, and he just wanted Jon to shut up so he could jump and get it over with.

After Craig guesses, he apologizes to his mom and counts down to his jump. Craig jumps, screaming as he falls. Craig tells us that even thought he was scared out of his wits, he knew it was important to jump, adding that he couldn't even see or think straight. Craig falls off backwards, and his bag falls just short of the target. Clay says that there was a moment where he, Paul, and Mark just all stared open-mouthed. Jon yells down to Craig that he conquered his fear. Jon asks Clay if he feels like Superman, and Clay only responds to Jon that he hates him. Nicole wonders why Craig had to scream, as it messed everyone up. Paul and Clay both thought Craig was hurt after the way he screamed. Paul comments that Craig went far down, and Mark says that Craig didn't miss the ground by much.

Alex edges out onto the plank next, telling us that he doesn't deal with heights well and found his legs uncontrollably shaky. After asking him how he feels out there, Jon makes Alex the exemption offer. Alex tells that at that point, Jon's words were turning into something of a jumble, but he threw out a guess. The editors are kind enough to show us Jon talking in the way Alex heard it, which mimics the way Satan speaks on movies.

After his guess, Alex calls himself a scaredy-cat and grips the bag tightly. Paul comments that he has been up there for a really long time, and Clay says that as tightly as he is gripping the bag, it's like he wants to have babies with it. Alex just kind of falls off of the platform, which Jon calls a "bungee oops". However, when Alex tosses his bag, he does his the target, earning $4,000 for the pot.

Nicole is the last to go, telling us that she wanted to see everyone test the equipment first. Jon comments that she seems to be in a good mood and have a spring in her step. Nicole replies that when you are facing probable death, it is always good to keep a smile on your face so you head in the right direction. Paul asks the guys if they really think Nicole will jump. Clay says that Nicole always puts on fronts, as Mark tells us that Nicole is a coin toss with him, adding that he wouldn't be surprised if she did jump, or if she didn't jump just to look like the Mole.

After she is out on the platform, Jon gets Nicole's guess for the exemption. Nicole says that he has her out on the bridge, and she would have had more time if he had asked her on the bridge. Nicole looks down, and says that she shouldn't have. Jon comments that it puts it all in perspective. Nicole asks if she has to jump, and Jon says that she does if she wants the exemption. Nicole tells us that she was petrified and frozen in fear, but she couldn't let a bunch of guys beat her, and wanted to use solo girl power.

At the bottom, Mark thinks Nicole may be opting out, while Paul mocks her, saying "I'm a doctor and I have more to lose. I'm not like these other people, I'm better than them." After praying for the Lord not to let her die on national TV, Nicole jumps with nearly perfect form, telling us that she just kept wondering when she would quit falling, adding that it was the longest moment in time in her life. Nicole hits way above the target with her throw, prompting Clay to tell us that he thought Nicole had the best form of any jump, and her to miss the target seemed a little Mole-ish.

Back at the top of the bridge, Jon tells the group that Alex was the only person to hit the target, earning $4,000 total for the mission. Mark tells us that the Mole could have been at work, but no one would ever know, as all they had to do was miss the target like almost everyone else did. The pot now stands at $251,000.

Jon reminds everyone of the exemption at stake. Mark reveals that he guessed $10,000, so no exemption for him. Paul guessed $12,000, Clay guessed $14,000, and Craig (admitting he wasn't thinking clearly) guessed $20,000, so none of them earn the exemption, either. Alex guessed $15,000, saying that he was going to give up the exemption anyway if he had won it. Nicole says that he's lying, but Alex says that he hasn't had one yet and doesn't need it. Nicole and Alex call each other "Mole" a few times back and forth. Nicole is last, and she guessed a whopping $28,000, which blows Mark away. No one wins the exemption, as they were all over, so Jon reminds them that they are all in danger of execution tonight.

Back at the hotel, Nicole is finally writing in her journal. Paul asks why she is starting now, and she says that Clay and Mark have been writing so much, and she's starting to feel a little guilty. Nicole explains to us that the last quiz was more specific than the ones before, and she knew Clay had been writing everything down, so she thought it would behoove her to try and get some of the information. Clay gives her some information, as Alex pounds back a bottle of wine. Clay tells us that the information he gave Nicole he thinks was the first information in her journal. Nicole tells him that is enough information, as she tells us that she finally used her new journal, saying, "Watch me get executed tonight after touching that journal!"

At dinner, Jon asks the players if the money seems more real now that it has reached a quarter million and is climbing. Paul says that there is no reason to think about it until the final three, with Nicole adding that you can't think of that money as yours at this point. Craig agrees, saying that it's because it is his. Nicole tells us that she is pretty proud that she has made it this far and is the last woman standing, adding that even if she is executed tonight, she still has a small victory.

Jon asks whose conscience has stepped up, and they all pretend not to know what that is. Paul says that he checked his at JFK airport, while Nicole tells us that you have to put aside your conscience for this game. Craig says that no lies and deceit in this game is like not bringing a glove and bat to baseball. Paul says that you can't have a conscience when you look around and only see five other people left, adding that nothing is going to bother him in this game. Alex adds that the knives are out and you have to push someone off of the bridge, and no more Mr. Nice Guy. Paul says that he likes the bridge analogy.

Clay reminds us that he and Mark sat down and talked about buying Alex extra wine at tonight's dinner, as we see extra being brought to Alex. Clay adds that they just felt that they had to find ways to get people executed. We see Clay offering his glass of wine, trying to get Alex to take it. Nicole adds that she doesn't like the white wine, and Alex refuses it as well, although we can't clearly see many empty glasses. Clay says that he can't drink the wine with the cold medicine that he is taking. Whatever.

As Jon toasts to tonight's seventh player to leave the game, Alex calls Nicole the Mole again. Nicole responds that she has been clicking Alex on her quiz for a while now and has been doing alright. Alex doesn't respond, instead only drinking more wine and swirling it around in his glass.

It's time for the quiz; ten questions about the Mole, and the player that knows the least will be executed, and will have to leave the game immediately.

Question One: Is the Mole male or female?
Question Two: In 'The Grapes of Cache' mission, did the Mole help solve brain teasers?
Question Three: Was the Mole wearing a collared shirt during 'The Grapes of Cache'?
Question Four: In 'The Grapes of Cache', which group did the Mole join?
Question Five: At wine and cheese after 'The Grapes of Cache', starting from Jon, where was the Mole sitting going clockwise?
Question Six: In the 'Swing Out' mission, how many players jumped off of the bridge before the Mole?
Question Seven: In the 'Swing Out' mission, where did the Mole's exemption guess rank from highest to lowest?
Question Eight: In the 'Swing Out' mission, how much money did the Mole earn for the pot?
Question Nine: In 'Swing Out', how much did the Mole guess to earn an exemption?
Question Ten: Who is the Mole?

During the quiz, Paul tells us that he thinks he will get through this quiz if he is confident and doesn't change his plan, adding that he isn't going to change his plans until they get down to five people. Mark says that Craig could be the Mole, as it looked to him like Craig was over thinking the questions, and no one is ever upset with Craig when he fails. Clay says that Paul could definitely be the Mole, as he gave a wrong coordinate, which could be his own doing, Mole behavior, or because of a wrong answer. Craig says that he has done the math, and Mark has kept nearly $50,000 out of the pot, and he has more notes on him than anybody. Alex says that Nicole acted so scared, but then jumped with perfect form like she had done it 100 times.

Nicole tells us that Alex could be the Mole, adding that she doesn't think everyone has a clear idea on who the Mole is, so is she is faster than one of them, she can stay.

Jon welcomes the players to their sixth execution, reminding them that in just a moment, he will begin accessing their quiz results. If the screen turns green, they are safe and can continue on in the game. But if the screen turns red, they have become the Mole's next victim, and must leave the game immediately.

Alex is first, and after Jon accesses his quiz results, the screen turns red. Alex says that he knew it, and everyone looks pretty stunned...except for Paul. Hmm. As Jon walks him out, he comments that Alex seems to be taking it well. Alex says that he played the game pretty dangerously, and he knew that if he didn't get the quiz right, he was out of there. Mark says that he actually wrote in his journal that he hoped he got to go first on the quiz results, but now he's glad that didn't happen. Alex says that he's just glad that he got to see Argentina and the Andes, and got to have an amazing experience.

Clay says that he'll miss Alex, as he is a fellow Philadelphian and is a good person. Paul says that he will miss the moments with Alex where they just sat in their rooms for hours and Alex played his music, as we see a clip of Alex's 'Mole Hunting' song. Nicole tells Alex that they will miss them, and with that, Alex gets into the car and is taken away, ending this episode!

I am very surprised Alex is out, but not really, as I predicted him as the Mole in my last recap, and at this point, we always know what happens with my predictions. However, I will make another prediction, as I think Craig is the Mole now. If I was on the show, I better have been doing my quizzes very quickly, or I would have been executed a long time ago!

At least my girl Nicole is still there, and I'm hoping she can stick it out until the end! Join me again next week as we find out who the Mole claims as their next victim! Until next time, everyone!
